The 100-year-old school lies just outside the village of Murthly and comprises two classrooms, hall, office and resource room. 'Broad-based' curriculum covers mathematics, language, environmental studies, health, expressive arts, RMA and, for older children, French. A learning support teacher visits the school twice a week, and a teacher provides classroom support to children with special needs one day a week. School board and parent staff association. The local playgroup uses the school once a month, and there are also monthly coffee mornings for senior citizens. 'We pride ourselves on having a good school ethos which is welcoming and friendly and on fostering good links with parents.' .
